On July 29th Justin blessed our little Maddie. It was so beautiful. We are also so grateful for all of the wonderful support from so many family members. We are sorry that the date changed at the last minute and really missed those who couldn't come because of that. Thanks mom and dad for driving so far to come! Thank you Uncle Wilf and Aunt Meka and Michael, as well, for driving a ways and everyone else. It was so great to see all of you. We love you all!
Maddie looked so adorable in her blessing dress (which happened to be my dress when I was blessed). She didn't like the dress very much, though. Probably too many ruffles and lace. She eventually fell asleep, though, and did great during all of the pictures.
Maddie also had her first experience at the beach while visiting the Hansens. As you can see she loved it and even basked in the sun for a while. She was asleep for about 3/4 of the trip which allowed Justin and I some great time in the waves. Maddie and I had such a fun time in California hanging out with the Hinksons and Hansens. We miss you all so much. Thank you for everything!
